Brady opts out of Pro Bowl
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has decided to skip the Pro Bowl because of his finger and rib injuries.
Brady will be replaced by Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub, who ironically had a much better statistical season anyway.
Brady was still a top 10 quarterback in 2009, but he clearly took a step back after missing a year with a knee injury.
The quarterback struggled through the first few games before finally getting into a groove, only to be inconsistent down the stretch.
The offseason will give him a chance to heal some of his injuries as well as reflect on his disappointing year.
