The New England Patriots always seem to have a lot of draft picks, and now they have even more.
The team has been awarded four compensatory draft picks for the free agents that left last offseason.
The Patriots are known for stocking up on second and third-round draft choices, and this year is no different.
As exciting as it is to receive four compensatory picks, one is a sixth-rounder and the other three will come at the end of the seventh round.
Still, the additional picks could allow the Patriots trade up to get better selections in the draft.

The New England Patriots have re-signed cornerback Leigh Bodden to a four-year contract.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Bodden was one of the most sought after cornerbacks on the free agent market, but decided to remain with the Patriots.
The team said that they felt that Bodden was the best player on the open market other than Vince Wilfork, who they also re-signed.
Bodden is a very good cover corner who had five interceptions last season, three coming in a game against the New York Jets.

The New England Patriots have finally rewarded star defensive tackle Vince Wilfork by giving him a five-year contract extension worth $40 million.
The team placed the franchise tag on Wilfork to avoid losing him, and the defensive tackle had made it clear for months leading up to the move how unhappy he would be with the organization.
However, Wilfork changed his tune somewhat after being slapped with the franchise tag, saying he really hoped that there was a good reason behind it.
It seems that the Patriots simply used the tag to give them more time to work on a long-term contract with Wilfork.
The contract now makes Wilfork the highest paid player at his position in the NFL, an honor that is well-deserved for the multi-time All-Pro defensive tackle.
