Patriots fall to Jets, 28-14

The New England Patriots wasted a fast start in the first half in a 28-14 road loss to the rival New York Jets.

New England got on the board early with a touchdown pass from quarterback Tom Brady to wide receiver Wes Welker.

The Patriots once again found the end zone when wideout Randy Moss made a beautiful one-handed grab over Darrelle Revis.

Moss unhappy with Patriots

New England Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss is unhappy with the team, saying he doesn’t feel wanted.

Bodden out for season

The New England Patriots have placed cornerback Leigh Bodden on injured reserve, knocking him out for the season.

It’s a pretty devastating blow to the the Patriots, who don’t exactly have a lot of depth in the secondary. They will now have to rely on a second-year player and a rookie to be their starters in the defensive backfield.

For a New England team that struggled on defense last season, this is certainly anything but welcome news. Bodden started 14 games last year, tying for the team lead with 5 interceptions and had 17 pass deflections.
